Amanda Hall
Senior Vice President of Operations
Behavioral Health
Amanda Hall was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations, Behavioral Health for Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana. In this role she is a strategic thought partner, leader and advisor for all behavioral health staff with the primary role of continually improving operational efficiency.
She started with Volunteers of America in March 2019. She held the position of Senior Director of Safety and Security, Behavioral health prior to her current role.
Her prior positions include working for the Washington Department of Corrections, National Institute of Corrections and the Indiana Department of Correction.
Amanda has a long history of public service. In addition to her work in the field of corrections, she served as a Child Protective Services investigator for Indiana’s Department of Child Services and worked as a volunteer for many years in Johnson County, Indiana facilitating a substance abuse education program. She was an instructor for Job Corps, a program director for AmericCorps, and she is a veteran of the United States Navy.
She is a long-time member of multiple professional and civic organizations including American Legion, Association for Talent Development, and the American Correctional Association. She holds professional certificates in learning design, learning evaluation, and leadership program design. She is credentialed by The Ohio State University in DACUM and SCID, Kirkpatrick Partners, Wiley, MTC Associates, ATD, The Center for Creative Leadership, and Myers & Briggs Foundation. She graduated cum laude from Indiana University with a BS in Criminal Justice.
Amanda lives in Brazil, Indiana.
Amber Hollingsworth
Vice President of Clinical Services
Amber Hollingsworth, a licensed clinical social worker with Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana, was promoted to Vice President of Clinical Services.
In this role, she oversees and directs a clinical team responsible for ensuring the highest quality of behavioral health services. She held positions of Clinical Director and then Senior Director of Residential Services before her current role.
Amber earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Purdue University and her Master of Social Work with a concentration in mental health and addictions from IUPUI. Over the course of her career, she has specialized in developing and implementing clinical programming and has held a variety of leadership positions prior to her current role. Amber specializes in acute mental health and substance use disorders. She joined the Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana team in April of 2018.
Amber is a native Hoosier and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Jennifer Martinez
Senior Director
Behavioral Health, Ohio
Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana welcomes Jennifer Martinez as Senior Director of Behavioral Health, Ohio Region. In this role she is responsible for developing and expanding services to meet the behavioral health needs of individuals and families. In addition to her role with Volunteers of America, she is an adjunct faculty at Columbus State Community College teaching social welfare policy.
Jennifer earned her bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan and her Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University.
Jennifer brings with her 15 years’ experience with highly vulnerable populations including individuals that are homeless, involved in the criminal justice system, and those that who have substance use disorders and severe and persistent mental illness.
Prior to joining Volunteers of America, Jennifer was the director of clinical services with ADAMH of Franklin County where she was responsible for identifying gaps in service and then develop and implement new programming to address those gaps.
Jennifer lives in Delaware, Ohio with her family.
