Indiana

"Go wherever we are needed and do whatever comes to hand.”

This was the pledge made by Ballington and Maud Booth when they founded Volunteers of America in 1896. Now, over a century later, these words still define us as we continue our legacy of responding to the needs of the homeless, families, veterans, men and women returning from prison, and the elderly in our community through comprehensive employment, housing and behavioral health services. Our organization is strengthened by the commitment of hundreds of employees, volunteers and partners working toward real change.
