Help us continue our work by making an Ohio car donation

If things around here look a bit different, don’t worry, there’s no need to adjust your monitor.

Welcome to the new and improved Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio website. This updated iteration of our website is faster, more intuitive and has a fresh, modern look. Far beyond a cosmetic facelift, several site features have been revamped to create an all-around better online  experience. Here’s what you can expect to find on the new site:

New site, new features

  • Social media integration: Our blogs, events and news articles will now be easier to spread via social media, so if you’d like to help us get the word out, feel free to share and tweet away!
  • The site is now mobile friendly: Mobile information consumption is on the rise and shows no signs of stopping. As a response to this demand, our site is now compatible across all mobile devices. The site is fast and easy to use no matter how you access it, whether on your smartphone, tablet or desktop.
  • Improved navigation: With a revamped layout and polished navigation, you’ll find the information you’re looking for for faster than ever before.
  • Designed for more interactions: The new site is built specifically to educate new visitors about our services that help veterans and the homeless, and give them more opportunities to engage with us, participate in our programs and help us by making donations.
  • Updated information:  We put a fine-toothed comb to the old website’s content and made sure to eliminate or update all information that wasn’t up to snuff. Everything you read is current and accurate.
  • Debbie’s thrift guide: Due to her overwhelming popularity, Debbie now has a more prominent role on the website, and will even be publishing her own Donate with Debbie Thrifting Guide!

Help Volunteers of America continue to make a difference. Make an Ohio car donation today

With all of these changes, we hope to bring in more visitors and volunteers to help us continue assisting veterans and the homeless in all of the Ohio communities we serve. However, one thing has not changed–in order to fund these vital programs, we rely on the kindness and donations from readers like you.

If you’d like to fund services that help the homeless and veterans receive the food, shelter and employment opportunities they need, please donate your extra or unused vehicle to Volunteers of America. We’ll take cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles, even if they’re not running. We can also arrange same-day towing, and you could potentially make more money from your vehicle as a tax deductible donation than you would by selling it in the classifieds.
