Celebrate Flag Day Friday, June 14
Honor Old Glory by supporting veterans.
Each June, we are reminded of the flag that proudly waves over our country and the men and women who have fought to protect it. By proclamation of the president, Flag Day falls on June 14 each year, with that week designated as Flag Week. Flag Day not only celebrates the day in 1777 on which the flag was adopted, but also the veterans who have served Old Glory.
With nearly 900,000 United States veterans in Ohio alone, there is much we can do to serve those who have so bravely served us. At Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio, it’s our mission to help those in need. We work to restore homeless veterans’ independence through programs and services like affordable housing, homeless veterans reintegration, and mental health and substance abuse treatment programs.
Donate cars in Ohio.
However, we cannot provide these critical services on our own. We count on the generosity of our neighbors like you to support the programs our veterans need to regain a sense of purpose and self-sufficiency. You can honor our patriots today with a simple donation of your unwanted vehicle.
When you donate your car, truck, motorcycle, boat or RV to Volunteers of America, to homeless men and veterans in Ohio, you are doing just that. Car donations in Cincinnati and Cleveland make in immeasurable difference in our clients’ lives.
Donating your automobile is easy. Just fill out our online form or call (800) 225-0732. We’ll tow your donated vehicle the same day for free, even if it hasn’t run in years. Celebrate Flag Day this year by making a difference in the lives of America’s heroes.
