Moo Moo Express Car Wash will be collecting monetary donations at wash kiosk at all Central Ohio Moo locations Aug. 10-12 in support of Volunteers of America’s Operation Backpack campaign. Also, Flying Ace Express Car Wash will be collecting monetary donations at the wash kiosk at all three Dayton, Ohio Ace locations Aug. 10-12 in support of Operation Backpack. With a $5 donation, customers will receive a coupon good for a FREE “Flying Ace” car wash during their next visit ($15 Value).

Operation Backpack provides school supplies and backpacks to thousands of homeless children. Nationwide, the average cost to fill a backpack is $87. Many families in need can't afford a backpack and school supplies for their children. These children, face many challenges and tremendous stigmatization – as a result, less than 25% graduate from high school. Most importantly, a filled backpack allows these children to start the school year feeling prepared and confident, with the knowledge that their education is important and that someone believes in them.
