Volunteers of America Announces Kevin Moore as Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (March 17, 2021)

Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana (VOAOHIN) is pleased to announce Kevin Moore has been named Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations.

In his role as Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations, Moore will provide executive level support for the non-profit organization’s residential, intensive outpatient treatment, and telehealth addiction recovery services.

Moore will lead the organization’s residential addiction recovery programs including Fresh Start Recovery programs, providing residential services to mothers with substance use disorder and their children, and residential services for men and women exiting the criminal justice system. The array of behavioral health services also includes intensive outpatient treatment and telehealth services for individuals with substance use disorder and mental health treatment needs. Moore will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the behavioral health operations including financial planning, staffing, programmatic and outreach.

Moore first joined VOAOHIN in the fall of 2020 in a leadership role, bringing with him more than 34 years of experience working for the State of Indiana, most recently as Director of the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction and 24 years with the Indiana Department of Corrections. Moore’s experience includes work with both juveniles and adults suffering with mental illness and substance use disorders.
