Kids Helping Kids in Need Have a Brighter Birthday

Columbus sisters give back to children in need by donating birthday party supplies.

When 9-year-old Camie and 8-year-old Paisley heard that some children don’t get birthday parties, they decided to do something to give back. In just a few months, with the help of their mother, Coleen Barber, they collected over 2,864 birthday supply items decorations, plates, cups and napkins.

The donations of birthday supplies came from organizations like Sitters Made Simple, Broadway Bound Dance Centre, the Goddard School in New Albany, and friends and family from across the country.

These donations were collected for Brightening Birthdays™ which helps children who are homeless experience the magic of a birthday party, cake and presents on their special day.
