Rob Gilmore Elected as Chair of the Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana Board of Directors
(CLEVELAND) - Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana is pleased to announce Rob Gilmore, a partner at Kohrman Jackson & Krantz (KJK), was elected to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors. Rob was first appointed to the board in 2010, and had served as vice-chair since 2014.
In his new role as chair, Gilmore will work closely with John R. von Arx III, the organization’s president and CEO, to ensure the board’s work is closely aligned with the organization’s strategic direction while providing leadership and inspiring the board to govern with a focus on achieving the organization’s mission.

As chair, he will lead us into the next phase of our mission as we undergo a strategic planning initiative. We’re in good hands.”
In his role at KJK, Rob serves as chair of the Labor & Employment practice group and leads the firm’s Employment & Severance Negotiations group. In addition to serving on the board for VOAOHIN, Rob is a member of the Cleveland State University Foundation Board of Directors, the board of the Greater Cleveland Film Commission, and the board of directors for AJC Cleveland.
Rob is also a member of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America’s Trial Law and Diversity Law Institutes, and is a co-chair of the Contracts and Executive Compensation Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee.
