Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana Votes in Three New Officers

Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana (VOAOHIN) is pleased to announce three current Board Members were voted in as officers to its Board of Directors.

The Board Members and their new positions include:

Brig Gen John P. McGoff, USAF (Ret) (Dr. McGoff, Community Hospitals of Indiana, retired), Vice Chair

Brig Gen John P. McGoff, USAF (Ret) (Dr. McGoff, Community Hospitals of Indiana, retired) is the Commissioner for the American Battle Monument Commission and has been voted in as Vice Chair.

“The VOAOHIN mission is meaningful to me because of the holistic approach to wellness which includes an array of services such as behavioral health, housing, addiction services and employment opportunities. I am humbled to use my gifts and talents to help transform lives. VOA has a long history of service and is focused on continuous improvement to ensure we are serving in a way that promotes an inclusive and equitable culture internally and to those we serve.”

Pat Gamble-Moore, Secretary

Pat Gamble-Moore is the Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Community Development Banking at PNC Bank and was recently appointed Secretary for Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana Board of Directors. She has served on the board since January 2020.

“I’ve seen firsthand the transformational impact this organization has had on individuals and the community and I’m incredibly honored to be serving on the Volunteers of America team.” 


Michael Leach, Treasurer

Michael Leach is a Partner at Ohio Foot and Ankle Specialists and retired from Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. He was recently appointed Treasurer for VOAOHIN Board of Directors.

The great work that is being performed in the areas of substance use disorders, veteran housing, corrections re-entry, just to name a few, is truly redefining human dignity and compassion. I look forward to being a part of VOA’s important mission to uplift all people and helping make a difference in our community."

These new volunteer leaders join members from across Ohio and Indiana to make up the two-state governing board of Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana.
